Thirteenth Petition
For the Grace of Fasting
Mother Mary, please help us to appreciate more the value of fasting as an offering and penance in atonement for our sins. Help us to fast more often and to detach ourselves from the materialism and vanities of daily life which turn us away from the teaching of your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. May we cherish the riches of your grace and desire to live a holy life.
Recite 100 Hail Marys.
